About eVISIONS & Our Connection to Florida’s Forgotten Coast
We Didn’t Just Choose the Forgotten Coast. We Fell in Love With It.
Sometimes the best places in life are the ones you never planned to find.
We accidentally discovered Florida’s Forgotten Coast in 2019, just a few months after Hurricane Michael. Our first visit was only a short stay. We spent a few weeks at Coastline RV Resort in Eastpoint, and somehow, that was all it took.
We were hooked.
What struck us immediately wasn’t just the natural beauty of the area. It was the people and the strength of the community. Even in the aftermath of such a devastating hurricane, we saw neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses working to rebuild, and a community determined to move forward.
We fell in love with the people, the small-town atmosphere, the coastal communities, and the unique character of the Forgotten Coast.
One Trip Became a Tradition
After that first visit, we started returning to Eastpoint every winter.
At first, we stayed for a week or two.
Then the visits became longer.
Today, what started as a short winter getaway has grown into nearly four months a year in the area.
At this point, we’re pretty sure that if we ever retire, there’s a good chance we’ll become permanent residents of the Forgotten Coast.
We don’t just visit the area anymore. We feel connected to it.
Bringing eVISIONS to the Forgotten Coast
In 2024, we decided to take that connection one step further.
We wanted to bring the same website design, SEO, digital marketing, and technical services we’ve provided for businesses for more than 20 years to the communities we had come to love.
That’s when we began expanding eVISIONS’ services into Eastpoint, Apalachicola, Carrabelle, St. George Island, Port St. Joe, and the surrounding Forgotten Coast communities.
Since then, we’ve been building relationships with local business owners and learning more about the companies, people, and communities that make this area special.
We believe that being a local service provider is about more than having a business address in an area.
It’s about being part of the community.
